Dear RECAL Members
As all of you know Annual General Meeting 2018 of RECAL, The Alumni Association of National Institute of Technology, Trichy will be held between 9.30am to 11am on Saturday, 8th September 2018 at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. RECAL has also circulated an election notice calling for nominations for office bearers for two year term 2018-2020. The deadline for receiving nominations was 30th Aug and the deadline for withdrawal of nominations will be 6th Sep. Elections will be held at the AGM as one of the agenda items.
I have received nominations from the following four individuals before the deadline for filing nominations:

As you can see we have NOT received any nomination for the post of Treasurer and two Joint Secretaries. In the past with the authorization from the floor, we have taken nominations from individuals during the AGM. To make RECAL a vibrant organization we need individuals to come forward and take more active role in the affairs of the Alumni Association. I request those of you who are interested in serving RECAL for two years to please attend the AGM and offer your nomination at the AGM with the permission of the floor of AGM.
