As all of you know Annual General Meeting 2018 of RECAL, The Alumni Association of National Institute of Technology, Trichy will be held between 9.30am to 11am on Saturday, 8th September 2018 at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. RECAL has also circulated an election notice calling for nominations for office bearers for two year term 2018-2020. The deadline for receiving nominations was 30th Aug and the deadline for withdrawal of nominations will be 6th Sep. Elections will be held at the AGM as one of the agenda items.

To make RECAL a vibrant organization we need individuals to come forward and take more active role in the affairs of the Alumni Association. I request those of you who are interested in serving RECAL for two years to please attend the AGM and offer your nomination at the AGM with the permission of the floor of AGM.

1.       Recognition of the M.Tech Industrial Safety Engg. course by the Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health / Factory Inspectorate in all the states in India .

2.       Current trends in the industry and expectations on this stream.

3.       Requirements for waiver to appear directly for Certified Safety Professional (CSP) USA examination.

4.       Expectations from industry regarding placements.

RECAL Bangalore chapter is organising annual welcome evening for our graduates and postgraduates from different streams who have passed out in 2018 and have started working in Bangalore.

Greetings from Office of Alumni Institute Interaction Cell.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and for registering yourself for the programme by Mr. S. K. Sampath, scheduled for Tomorrow, the 23rd January 2019.

Seeing the great response from you all (B.Tech. and M.Tech.), it is been decided that to have the programme for two days, with B.Tech students on January 23rd and M.Tech. students on January 24th.

Programme Schedule:
(1) All the registered students are requested to assemble in A11 hall at 10.00 am on January 23rd, 2019 (B.Tech). and January 24th, 2019 (M.Tech.).   
(2) For the entire group of students of all discipline, a session on extempore on chosen topic would be conducted. For each student, it will be for maximum 10 minutes including 2 minutes to prepare for the given topic.
(3) After the first session, personal interview, Maximum of 15 minutes for each student, would be conducted in the Student's Council Room.
(4) Students are requested to bring the hard copy of their resume.
